CeR Staking Ranks
Your staking streak determines your CeR staking rank. Higher rank = more tickets in the VRF block sealing draw.
How staking works in the TRITO universe
1. Choose your tier
Select any of the 21 tiers based on how long you want to lock your TRITO. Longer lock periods earn significantly higher APR. Tier 18 at 180 days earns exactly 100% APR.
2. Stake and start earning
Your tokens are locked for the chosen period. Rewards are freshly minted TRITO — they never come from the free supply or other stakers. Your principal is always safe.
3. Build your CeR rank
Every consecutive day you have an active stake counts toward your staking streak. The longer your streak, the higher your CeR staking rank and the more VRF tickets you earn.
4. Seal blocks and earn more
With enough CeR tickets you get selected by Chainlink VRF to seal blocks. Block sealers earn up to 210 TRITO per batch (21 transactions at 10 TRITO each) on top of staking rewards.
5. Unstake and claim
Once your lock period ends you can unstake at any time. You receive your full principal plus all accrued rewards in a single transaction. No fees, no penalties.
6. Halving schedule
Block sealing rewards reduce by 10% every 6 months. Staking APRs are fixed and never change. This means stakers are protected from inflation while the network matures.
Staking Risk — Slashing
If you operate a validator node and attempt to double-sign, all your active stakes are automatically slashed by 50%. Slashed tokens are permanently burned.

Example — Tier 1
1,000 TRITO × 5% × (10/365)
= 1.37 TRITO reward
